These rains are so odd for this time of year, but I've been LOVING them too!!!! It's been such a blessing since our lungs are usually fighting for their lives this time of year. Super grateful.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY fellow water sign!🩵✨ I'm so sorry that you're unable to see your stateside family but so glad you are in good company with your partner, cats, and the rains coming in to nourish the land.
I haven’t read the whole piece yet because life is too fricking crazy right now but wanted to let you know I GET YOU, DANA. My mind is not my friend, especially lately. I will read the rest this weekend. Love you, girl. Thank you for your honesty. We need it.
What an amazing life you live. Such beautiful intention by you and Randy. So many blessings. Happy birthday youngster ☺️
I’m sorry to hear about your trip. The world is maddening and changing and the same. All at once. You’re in a good place to avoid the worst and embrace the best. 🙏
Sending you big birthday love, Dana. 💗 I’m sorry your travel plans aren’t going to happen. I hope you get to hug your family in the near future. So much turbulence in the world tight now.
I love the updates you share on Tucker. He really is squeezing right into the feline trio in your home. Animal dynamics fascinate me.
It really is something to watch how Tucker has found his way with the girls. I think it’s the result of months of slow, incremental steps... and then, just in the past week, it’s like he’s suddenly able to behave around them in the house, and they’re suddenly cool with it. Even a month or two ago, I never would’ve thought that was possible!
Oh I love these updates from your life in Thailand, Dana, thanks for letting us have a peek into your world. Tucker sounds like he's earned full family member status - he sounds like such a gorgeous addition (and glad to hear the girls are keeping him in check!) 🧡
I'm so sorry to hear your travel plans have been disrupted. I was also just about to try to book tickets to the UK for my Dad's 80th in July, but everything feels on hold right now as airlines close routes through the Middle East and prices are soaring. It reminds me of the COVID era and how hard it was being an immigrant when suddenly routes back to the homeland were unavailable. The astrologer in my life has advised not to try to plan anything until March is over!
Thank you, Vicki. That makes me so happy to hear, because I wasn’t sure whether anyone would be interested in any of this... but I don’t like forcing a more formal post or “essay” if one isn’t naturally bubbling to the surface. (Also, I personally love reading people’s more casual updates.) ❤️
Sorry to hear about your own travel plans. One of my flights (the return, via Abu Dhabi) was changed, and they added on more fees! Thankfully, though, they also offered the option to cancel for a full refund, which I took. I didn’t travel during the lockdown era, but that’s when Randy and I remarried via Zoom, allowing him to get back into Canada as my spouse. The world sure has felt different since then.
I didn’t travel during the COVID era either, it was almost impossible to get back into NZ if you left, but I lived on tenterhooks that something would happen to my family overseas. Turbulent times. I hope it falls into place for you soon.
Such turbulent times. I, too, worried I wouldn’t be able to reach my family if needed. My relationship to travel has been different since then. I even worry about leaving Randy and the cats, afraid something will happen and I won’t be able to get back.
Sending happy birthday wishes, Dana! I am sorry the visit to your loved ones in the States won't happen right now, but happy you have such a loving family (2 and 4 legged) in Thailand 💗

Yes! So amazing to breathe in the green wetness the other morning. And it’s wild how quickly a new wave of critters emerged.

Thank you, Ivana! I know I’m biased, but I always feel like March and springtime more generally are a beautiful time for a birthday. ❤️
My sisters and so many of my close friends have March birthdays. Plus, the new zodiacal year starts in March! I agree this is an elite time of year.💛

Thank you, Jamey! Wishing you much steadiness and ease, and sending lots of love ❤️

Thanks, Dee. And so, so true. Somehow the world goes on - in chaos and pain, in blessings and beauty. 🙏

Thank you, Julianna! They really do bring so much love and joy to my life ❤️
Thank you Dana for making me feel in your presence. Your description of your home and the solitude it brings to you make me smile.

Love you too, Dana!💕
